"Let them praise his name with dancing.."

I've photographed seniors, families, couples, landscapes, animals, and sports since my love for photography blossomed, but never pictures of someone dancing. So when my very good friend Jordan mentioned the idea of me taking some photographs of her doing what she loves, I jumped at the opportunity to broaden my photography skills by trying something new. Not only was the subject of these pictures a bit new, the location we went to take them was too. We wanted to go somewhere that was different and unique. After some research, I found the perfect place! The Old Roswell Mill is located minutes from downtown Roswell and is home to a beautiful waterfall, river, covered bridge and just a bunch of neat backdrops. I had such a fun time shooting these photographs and am now much more open about trying new things when it comes to what I photograph. I love how the black and white versions of these photographs turned out, very dramatic. Enjoy!!

Clinton Nature Preserve Senior Pictures

I recently took some senior pictures at a place called Clinton Park/Nature Preserve and loved it! I realized when I got there that I had been there once before for a cross country meet my freshman year but I guess back then I didn't see its potential as a great spot for pictures. Other than having many trails for running and exploring as well as a big playground, it also houses an old cabin type building and a farm house that is used as the park's offices. Although I took both of the shoots shown below on different days, I took the photos around the same time of night (around 6:30) which was the perfect time of day to get the exact lighting that I wanted for the pictures. First blog post!! And Senior Pictures!

Hello all. So it turns out that I technically started this blog in November of 2012 and never even wrote a post, and since I am fixing to go off to college and I have grown a lot this year with my photography, I decided I would try to start blogging every so often about these experiences. Lately I have been doing a lot of Senior Pictures! These are so much fun because you get to capture that person's personality and life into their photographs, and it's not everyday that you get to be a senior in high school! Each one of these photo shoots were unique and fun in there own special ways. Enjoy!
